Good for Business, Better for the Planet

Every ton of biomass pellets used instead of coal reduces carbon emissions significantly. By converting agricultural waste into fuel, we also help reduce crop stubble burning — one of India's major pollution contributors.

Our pellets offer a cost-effective, carbon-neutral energy source that helps industries meet sustainability goals while reducing fuel costs.

Carbon Neutral

Biomass pellets release only the CO2 absorbed during plant growth

Zero Stubble

Reduces crop residue burning in fields

Cost Effective

30-40% cheaper than conventional fuels

Farmer Income

Creates additional revenue for farming communities

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about biomass pellets and their use in industry.

Biomass pellets are compressed cylinders made from agricultural residues like crop stalks, rice husks, and sawdust. They are dried and compressed under high pressure to produce a dense, uniform fuel with high calorific value (3,200–3,800 Kcal/kg), used as a cleaner alternative to coal in industrial boilers and heating systems.

Biomass pellets have a comparable calorific value to Indian coal but with dramatically lower ash (3–8% vs 25–45%), negligible sulphur, and lower emissions. They cost 20–30% less per ton and are carbon-neutral since the CO2 released during burning equals what the plants absorbed during growth. Industries typically save 30–40% on total fuel costs after switching.

Yes. Most coal-fired boilers (1 TPH and above) can burn biomass pellets with only minor grate and feed mechanism adjustments. Full boiler replacement is not needed. The conversion typically takes 2–3 days and is very cost-effective compared to installing new equipment.

Yes. Biomass pellets produce significantly lower particulate matter, virtually zero SO2, and no toxic heavy metals compared to coal. Switching to biomass is often the simplest and cheapest way to meet Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) standards without installing expensive scrubbers or electrostatic precipitators.

Biomass pellets are widely used across textile mills, food processing units, brick kilns, chemical plants, paper mills, and thermal power plants. Any industry that runs a coal-fired boiler or furnace can switch to biomass pellets. Power plants are also mandated by the government to co-fire 5–10% biomass with coal.

Yes. Every ton of coal replaced by biomass avoids approximately 2.4 tons of CO2 emissions. These reductions can be registered as carbon credits and sold on voluntary or compliance markets. A factory using 100 tons of pellets per month can generate around 2,880 credits annually — a significant additional revenue stream.
